Somehow, our busy lives had dragged our 1st anniversary celebration to...tonite.
He gave me two hamsters with a cute pink cage.
Nak naik tangga tapi gemuk sangat sampai tertidur ;p
Oh, si gemuk ni memang selalu tersangkut kat belakang running wheel.
In return, he wanted me to make a heart-shaped cheesecake for him. Since he loves strawberries so much (he made me buy strawberry shower scrub and strawberry cologne, not to mention his protein shake is also strawberry flavour ;p), I'll make a Strawberry Cheesecake.
But what about the heart-shape? I'm making a non-baked cheesecake, (the one with cookie crumbs at the bottom) so the cake tin must be the type that I can lift the base. My mom had the square and circle. But heart-shape? Hmm..I even thought of making a square one, which I can later cut it into a heart-shape. But mind you, I'm not a good cutter ;p it would be a huge mess!
And so I came out with the idea of cupcakes. I just arrange the cupcakes into a heart-shape :)
Thats how it became the Heart-shaped Strawberry Cheese Cupcakes! *wink*
We decided to eat it at the gazebo in front of my house.
We invited little guests also =)
But...
While thinking of making the cake, I thought " takkan makan cheesecake je? bosannya.."
What if I cook his favourite food? After all he did spend hundreds of ringgit buying me hamsters and all of the stuffs the hamsters need. Well, why not?
The Menu:
1. Bihun Hailam (my mom's Bihun Hailam is his ultimate favourite! How about Liana's Bihun Hailam?)
2. Dim sum. (he loves dumplings, but I bought the readymade one larr..belum master chinese cooking lagi ;p)
3. Longan drinks
4. Aiskrim Malaysia (ngeh3)
5. Heart-shaped Strawberry Cheese Cupcakes!
Burrpp** Oops, excuse me.
"The way through a man's heart is through his stomach"
ceceyhhh...
p/s: my 'first-timer' bihun hailam turn out to be a little bit sticky..probably because not enough water haha..nasib baik mr l.o.v.e cakap "OK la~ sedap.." (nak jaga hati kita la tu..;p)
Kena belajar lagi dengan mama nih!
